The Crusaders ended The Brumbies semi-final hopes by inflicting an heavy defeat on them, the 30 point winning marging being the difference. The Crusaders head in to the playoffs odds on favorites to take out the Super 14 title.

The Highlanders ended the season on a disapointing note, losing to the Reds in Brisbane.

The Chiefs comfortable disposed of the out of form Blues at Eden park. By not getting out of 1st gear they won at a canter.

The Hurricanes toughed out a huge win in Sydney witch sets up a mouth watering return game at the cake tin in Welington.
