CRUSADERS CRUISE TO FINAL:
The Crusaders eased past the Bulls, beating them comprehensively 35-15 at Jade Stadium in Christchurch on Saturday, to cruise into the Super 14 Final. The reigning champions will meet the Hurricanes in an all-New Zealand Final at the same venue next Saturday.
The Crusaders outscored the Bulls by five tries to two, as the South Africans were yet again smashed by the masters of Super rugby. The Crusaders showing what class they have got when they turn the ball over. There is no other side in the world who can make you pay for your mistakes like the Crusaders can.
The Crusaders' win was no surprise in a competition they have made virtually there own since 1998. After finishing rock bottom in back in 1996, what a turn around.
The Crusaders had far too much panache tonight for a Bulls side who looked bereft of attacking options and leg-weary after only arriving from Pretoria on Tuesday.
The result continued the Crusaders' perfect semifinals record, having won all their seven appearances in the old Super 12 competition. The Bulls were also true to form, having lost their two appearances in the Super 12 semi-finals.
In captain Ritchie McCaw they have undoubtable the best player in the world. People say he is always offside and breaking the laws, you watch him, he is just the master at the breakdown. I just think he is simply to good, to good for the refs, it just looks like he infringes all the time.
